Stronger Together

Mac Dealer Network is an exclusive members-only site for owners, managers, and key employees of Macintosh sales and repair shops, as well as iPhone repair shops.  It's a place where you can share knowledge, discuss the industry, and buy and sell needed inventory. Many of us have only one or two suppliers for certain parts or inventory...imagine having a vast network of quality suppliers that you can work with.  Have a challenging repair?  Imagine being able to tap into the collective knowledge of hundreds of experts.  MDN is a community where you can take your business to the next level.

Applicants must apply and meet specific criteria in order to join (must own or work at an established, verified Mac sales or repair store), so you're assured of only the highest-quality interactions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does membership cost?

A: Since we are relatively new, focused on growing a vibrant community, all membership fees will be temporarily waived for the early-joining members until we build a solid community.  After that, standard membership will cost just $395 per year, which will easily pay for itself with one or two deals, or some valuable advice or insight.  We may offer additional membership tiers for wholesale vendors, and/or may limit the number of 'for sale' or 'wanted' posts without additional fees.  For now there are no limitations on your ability to post to the site.

Q: I have multiple managers / key employees.  Can I set up multiple accounts?

A: Yes, you can create multiple accounts at this time, provided each account has a unique email address and uses your company domain name.  The annual fee (when assessed) will be reduced to $50 for each sub-account after the initial one.  We reserve the right to limit or verify accounts.

Q: Can I cancel my membership?

A: You may cancel your membership at any time.  If you have paid a membership fee, you will receive a pro-rated refund of any remaining days.

Q: Do you charge any transaction fees if we buy or sell inventory through the site?

A: No, there are no fees to buy or sell inventory.  All buying and selling is done directly between members through any mutually-agreeable method.  If there is member interest we may consider setting up an escrow service, but since we are vetting and verifying members up front, you can feel comfortable that members are legitimate.  That said, we are not responsible for any issues that may arise in the course of a transaction...we're simply connecting two parties who can decide whether and how to do business together.  THAT said, if you have a problem with another member, please let us know, and we will take such issues into consideration with regard to allowing members to remain on the site.

Q: Can I be a member if I am simply a parts supplier or wholesaler?

A: Absolutely.  If you sell to Mac or iPhone sales or repair shops, we would love to have you be a part of our community.  Please note that members who are strictly vendors may incur higher fees once we start charging for membership.

Q: Who started Mac Dealer Network?

A: MDN was founded by Joseph Stewart, a veteran of the Mac sales industry since 1995.  Joseph and his partner founded MediaGuide in their apartment back in 1995, which quickly became a major player in the used mail-order Mac business.  MediaGuide later expanded to become a full Apple Dealer and Service Provider with 3 retail locations in Colorado.  In 2004, Joseph founded Mac Outlet, which grew to become one of Denver's largest used Macintosh sales and repair stores.  Joseph sold that business in 2019, and after a period of semi-retirement, recently launched Mac Dealer Network (which is an idea he's had for well over a decade), as a way to connect people in the Mac industry together.

Q: What is your privacy policy?

A: About as simple as it gets: we will never sell or share your information with any other party.  This is a closed community and we respect your privacy here.
